Lesmahagow Photographic Society

Thanks to Awards For All, the club is continuing to grow. This is down to the equipment we bought through the grants we have received. Some of which are a Laptop Computer, Digital Projector, Film Scanner and Adobe Photoshop, we now have an A3 Printer, a PA System and an external DVD writer, all of which will help us to continue and improve with the demonstrations and workshops we have.

Through this equipment members learn how to scan their photographs into the computer, download their photographs from their cameras and using Photoshop can prepare their photographs for printing, add filters, remove unwanted objects or compile their work into a slide show with titles, background music and various fade effects. Members have the use of all the digital equipment including two digital cameras.

If you are just beginning in this technology or are more advanced you will be made more than welcome at our club.
